written on the day we went to paul's house but posted late.


YAY! XD jess and I went to paul's house to put up welcome banners and stick balloons around. XD then we started blowing up balloons and jess finished up the banner tt said' welcome home lee family esp paul'

and then.... i burst like a thousand balloons and out of 1 and a half packets, we managed only 4. then 1 flew off and i didn't chase fast enough and it landed, IN THE SEWER!!!! HAHAHHAAH and i climbed in after the balloon but i gave up when it when it went under the sheltered part, and here i have to give jess credit for climbing in after tt balloon into the drain and according to her the drain was filled with those white pointy stalacites and stalagmites and she insists that it was a great sacrifice on her part. and then she came up declaring herself sewerman (superman)

afterwhich, jess finished the banner IN THE RAIN!!!! so i held the umbrella open while she coloured the words in. and jess was telling me to shelter the banner more. hahaha, then we prayed for the rain to stop and praise the Lord, it did!!!!! and taking advantage of the fine weather, we quickly cling wrapped the banner. XD

soon after i think it started to drizzle again and jess, being totally not satisfied with 4 lousy balloons, decided to go door to door to demand balloons from poor paul's neighbours. ok , not demand, ask in the sweetest voice possible. XD and house 23 was so nice to give us 5 yellow balloons.

then we started putting the banner up and i realised tt their gate was not locked, so we rang the doorbell a couple of times to see if anyone was home. seeing no one, we concluded tt paul's house has special security tt would set the alarms off the minute you step in. but then it started to pour really heavily and the balloons started flying off and so, we decided tt hanging them on the sheltered front door was safer. XD and so... we BROKE IN!!!! hahahaha, we were pasting balloons on the front door when there was this car which drove right up. and out came a lady walking to paul's house and we were all 'uh oh'. i think we almost killed her from shock. haha, she was asking us what we were doing and we were trying to explain tt we were welcoming paul back. and then she asked us which sch we were from, and the dripping wet, scruffily dressed us sheepishly said rgs. and jess added ' i feel really smart today' haha. but her aunt was really nice and she said tt we should remove the banner first coz it would get wet ( our cling wrapping skills weren't tt great) and then she would help us put it up tmr.

then she gave us sweets for being so sweet. hahaha!!! XD and we passed her our bag of sweets for paul and the guardian angel letter. XD then she asked us to come in and sit and she so kindly gave us a lift to bishan mrt station. hahah she thought we were loan sharks cos of our pasting stuff on the door and the mess we created outside the front gate. HAHAHA!!!

anyway, we had real fun! hooray! but i cant post this till after paul gets home. XD

SO FUN!!! XD XD XD and how did she guess it was us? >< her aunt must have broken her promise not to tell. hahaha

moelc posting is out!!! jess, leeqi, nicole , tabitha and i are all in the same class!!!! hooray!!!! Leeqi better not quit french. but it's at 4.30pm leh, so sad and our teacher is L.Robert. haha never heard of him.

and today was really really fun and cool! but i cant post an entry now coz it would be a spoiler. XD

yest was so tiring but so fun.

bluffed my dad and told him ccao was a t 6.30 instead of 7 so tt i'd be on time and I was second to reach!!!! hahah not bad! XD my dad was expressing so much amazement tt the world was alive and awake at 6 plus in the morning. hahaha

ccao was fun. did a little bit of the into-ing and some pyramids with the others then we did swing dancing with the juniors. XD Ann is a good swing dancer. i was a tad grouchy when my sis wasn't selected and so, when i walked with Shin to the accounts dept to collect something, I shouted
' rgs cheated my money' . but it's ok now, as my mum said, God has a plan for her too. haha, her nanyang uniforms drying in the kitchen are still somewhat an eyesore. but she still seems happy about it so it's ok.

after ccao, i went for lunch with jess and my family at jack's place. and my dad was being such an annoying customer. He wasnted his beef to be cooked to such perfection. he wanted in the middle of medium and medium rare and he counted wrongly so he ordered 60% then he realised tt he counted wrong and he called another poor lady and told her he wasnted 40% now. luckily , a very professional lady came up with the whole guide for steak cooking and helped him to pick the right percentage. then when his beef came he decided it was too raw, so he sent it back to the kitchen to cook somemore. and the bad thing about this is tt i'm not even lying. hahaha

then we went to popular to pick out sch stuff and jess's mum came to pick her.

then my family went on our way to the s'pore expo. which i so did not want to go. coz i wasnted to sleep. and i was convinced tt there would be nothing to see. I fell asleep in the car and woke up with so many pins and needles in my foot. but there really was a lot of stuff at the expo!!!! We bought a lot a lot of books, and i found a copy of the city of joy!! which was the really nice movie we watched for geog this year!!! it's really nice and the book is more detailed than the movie.
the metro sale was GREAT!!!!!! At last i bought some new clothes!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yay yay yay yay!!!! Shin should have gone too! haha, now all i need to do is to wait for my hair to grow to it's normal length and the sun will be shining again. XD


and later jess and i will be going on a special mission. which is so fun tt i can't wait!!!!and i can't say it yet. but i probably will next time!!!! jess's idea, which i think is really sweet. XD XD XD can't wait!!!


YAY! God is good all the time! and all the time, God is good!

just finished the gym attendance sheets. tsk tsk. 8 ppl didn't pass the training quotas. haha not even 50%, but some have reason la. there're some really sad ones tho, 0% training. 4 ppl in fact have not come for trainings at all!!! only stephanie the great has come for EVERY single training. she should be awarded a medal man.

my sis had an interview for the appeal to get into rgs. it was quite funny the way florence panicked. as though she was going to take the interview. and jess and florence were nice to help my sis with her intro speech and their whole family waited around with my family for my sis's interview to end. florence was my sis's 'manager', coaching her on all the possible questions tt the inerviewers would ask. so funny. my sis was really nervous. but then, so would anyone about to take a life changing interview. really really hope with my fingers and toes crossed tt she'll get in. We will do our best and let God do the rest! XD hmm... hope they tell us soon tho, coz the nanyang bookshop is closing tmr and she might get stranded with no uniform and no books if she doesn't get to rg.

my favourite month of the year ends in 3 days!!!!and then sch will start!!!!!! oh, the horror. i went to check out the position of my classroom tho. it's right next to jess and paul's class, just seperated by a corridor, so tt's good. and it's near the stairway so i dun have to walk tt much. XD and i hope tt mr lim doesn't suddenly wake up, realise how horrible our class is and back out of his noble plan. XD

and yest was 27th which means tt we left for UK exactly 7 mths and 1 day ago. how far away it sounds. i bought a pack of walkers uk biscuits at cold storage just now. how yummy!!!! I think we finished the pack already. -guilty look-

and i have been eating and eating and eating and eating. as i type, i am munching on cereal with raisins and milk. and i ate like 10 cubes of chocolate when watching a show just now. hahahaha. but tt should be the ways to live the hols. XD yay!

CHRITMAS IS HERE!!!

and it's gonna end pretty soon too

mm choir was fun. but i was trying to stay away from the mike coz firstly, i shouldnt take the mike when vanessa sings better, WAY BETTER, and i forgot my words a couple of times. but it was fun on the whole and we could see the congregation from up there. The church was PACKED!!!! SO PACKED!!! ppl had to sit on the floor! tt was great!!!

but because we were so used to sing so loudly during choir, jess and i sang SUPER loud during service today. then there was one part where the ppl sang on a diff key from the one we sang in choir, and we could hear ourselves singing SO loudly. wah so embarassing! we were practically screeching away! hahahahahahaha!!!

yest's christmas party was FUN!!!! but i was really tired after about 9pm. how lousy. we played the dirty games where we had to step on the egg yolks, soy sauce and other disgusting stuff and play some games. it was actually qte fun in the end. hahaha! everyone was really dirty and i was actually qte clean compared to them coz i didn't play one of the games where i was afraid tt the flour would get into my lenses. too bad we didn't stay over but then i think i would have died if i didn't sleep yest. i was already so sleepy. i fell asleep on the couch before midnight, fullly intending to get up in 10 mins to count down and when i woke it was already 12.30am. how sad.

oh ya, jess and i were supposed to pick a p4 guy, huang jian to go to g1 and so we brough a sign tt says 'huang jian guo lai' and there was this guy sitting at the bus stop who saw the sign and started staring at it. we thought he was amused by it and i sed ' maybe he's huang jian ah' and jess was so confident tt he wasn't . so we waited. and waited. and finally when no one came, we went to ask him and guess wat, he was huang jian!!!! HAHAHAHAH! I AM A GENIUS!

i realised tt i'm not blogging in chronological order but nvm. mmm what else...

oh some cross road 47 ppl stayed over and even stayed for the service today. tt's really great. Boon Chong and Meng Chai i think. and they have funny nicknames for jess and i.

and i found out tt vanessa was from the same pri sch as me!!!!!! YAY!!!!! SO COOL!!!!! we were singing the c.h.i.j sch song over and over again. haha, my senior!!! so cool so cool!

i'm sleepy again. will ya believe tt??? i slept at 5 in the evening and woke at 7.30. which meant tt i missed half of my little fairy show. hahahaha.

mmm all the church ppl are so nice , just feel very at home in church. hols have become meaningful because of church. hope i can go to watch night next week. JAZI COME WITH ME!!!! XD

oh no. sch is starting. how horrendous. the thought of it gives me shudders. hahaha - shivers and shakes violently- sec 4.... yuck. so old. dun want.

ok jess is rushing me to post. and it's 3 mins till past christmas!!!! 365 days more to christmas everyone. hahahaha

i'm baking cookies!!!! XD about 3 batches so far. which is 10 trays? i dunno.

it's christmas eve tomorrow!! and i dunno if jess and i are staying over night at church to countdown for christmas. hmm... maybe la.

christmas carn was fun!!! I was manning a stall with small mel and we were pretty busy. but jess claimed tt her stall was more popular. HAH! XD I didn't walk around very much but it seemed really nice and the church was quite packed. I couldn't recognise the chinese people i invited last night tho, so i dunno if they came in the end. oh wellz.

oh both jess and i passed our french delf exams. HOORAY!!! next year we will try B1 then. hope we get monsieur benoit to teach us next year. he gave us super high for oral la! hmm... i just checked moelc website, still no class postings. so slow.

choir tommorow. the performance i mean. then after that we're gonna meet huang jian, a p4 boy who signed up to go for the christmas party thing but doesn't know how to get there. so jess and i will have to go to the bus stop and wave a sign saying 'huang jian guo lai' hahahaha see if got time to do the sign la.

my sis was shortlisted to go for the test in rgs today. about 100 plus people there though. dunno if they'll take her, haiz. thanks for all the prayer and keep praying please!!! she's gonna need all the prayer she can get if she wants to come to rgs next year. haha it's really sad to think tht if she got 1 point more she'd be spared all this agony.

about 9 more days before i'm officially not sec 3. sec 4!!! HOW OLD!!!!

went to do stuff at the youth centre today and ended up helping them take minutes of meeting which ended up in me knowing something which is troubling.

how do you comfort someone in tt position?

i really dunno and i feel so....... helpless.

what do you even say?

someone else told me that God understands their pain because they've been through it and He will comfort them if they are willing to draw closer to Him.

on a lighter note, today was pretty much fun!!! We just went there and called the community youth to ask if they wanted to go for the christmas party. then there was one girl at the youth centre today who recognised me!!! so cool!!! coz she's seen me around the block before. hahaha
actually it's a bit scary to live so close to church. like you don't know who you'll meet around the corner. plus there're like 10 of my dad's boy's brigaders who attend grace assembly and i didn't know tt till one of them told my dad that they saw me at church. wah so scary. hahaha.

you know, i think jess and i should just join the youth centre people if they still have vaccancies and forget about card making minitry.

yesterday was pretty fun too. training was good i guess, not much conditioning plus we did swing dancing for a bit. hahaha. then we went choir and sang from 4-10. we're great. hahaha and jess kicked my shoe off and it was as though i swung it off so it was pretty funny.
and when we were singing something, there was this word ' poco rit' which means something to the dynamics of the song or something like tt and since it was in the middle of the line, jess almost sung it. HAHAHAHHAHAHA the words were going 'God with us' then jess almost sang ' poco rit' instead. it was super funny! i was laughing away for very long.

The dreaded R-word shall not be mentioned today but it's still there dying by the minute.

maybe jess and i will fail rs and then we'll have to repeat sec 4 and we won't have to go to jc.

met the new cell today. maybe we're in the raffles cell instead of ip cell. which means tt we won't be in the same cell as big mel and jamie after june. which is not a good thing. we'll have new people in our cell. who are really nice, so i guess it's ok. aiya. i dunno. i'm just not too excited at the prospect of not having big mel and jamie in our cell.

choir yest at bukit batok cc. it was... uh ok la. but the pro people weren't there and we got drowned out. luckily 2 people joined us at the last minute.

regional cell outing was quite fun. esp during the game where we took turns to draw cards and depending on the number, different people drank water. we weren't allowed to say the word 'drink' and some people kept forgetting and the pained look on their face everytime they saboed themselves was super funny.

mmm what else.... we've been going for trainings at odd timings because of other stuff. there's choir again on wed and christmas carnival on fri so we'll prob go for morning trainings again. just jess and i. how sad. gets pretty boring after a while and we end up talking instead of jumping. haha

i am bored...

Rhema Conference 2006 has just ended.

It was radical

and i just want to blog about it before i forget.

today's nite rally was awesome. pastor monty was great and inspirational as usual but actually today's altar call didn't appeal to me as much. i needed it but i was kinda too proud to admit it. so i was just standing with the others who were praying and Yvonne was just praying for me too and i was not feeling anything at all. i was pretty disappointed but i just remembered very very clearly pastor monty telling us that we have to wait on the Lord and not for us to give God a time limit. so i just kept praying for God to come and touch me.

then pastor cuixian came to pray for me. She told me to lift up my hands to pray which is new because i only do tt during worship. then she put her hands on my head and my tummy and started praying in tongue which i didn't understand till she translated to english. then after tt when she was praying for me, i felt my head going fuzzy and my legs were a bit wobbly, jellyish. then she put 1 hand behind my back and i was wondering if i was going to fall. and i was a bit scared and i didn't want to. but she was praying and praying for the holy spirit to enter and i just fainted. A couple of people helped me up and i just sank into the wall next to me and tears just flowed. then i also felt tt my hands were like ice.

it was AMAZING!!!!! I was so touched by the holy spirit and i think it's just awesome tt jess and i both had such phenomenal experiences during rhema. tonite there were so many people just crying and praying in tongue. in my first few posts about this new church, i think i sed tt the people fainting in church was scary. I'm eating my words. - crunch, gobble, munch- I felt so at peace and it's pretty hard to describe the whole feeling and experience. i've tried my bestest best to put such an experience into words but it must be experienced to really understand to feeling.

but i emphasise tt it was certainly very special and one of the best experiences i've ever felt in my life.

mmm... the first night was really good too. and i felt like hugging jess. because it was like the first time we cried over spiritual stuff.

i am really thankful for big mel and jamie who prayed for me tt night as well as Yvonne, Huan ting, and pastor cuixian who prayed for me tonight. You make me feel so loved. and there were those nice comforting people who just hugged me gave me a pat. oh and jess who just finished praying for me.

i'm in such a great mood and i believe tt 2007 will be a dynamic spiritual year. XD All my cell people are so great. big mel, jamie, susanna, david lee and some others. they're all such great testimonies. esp susanna who really really inspires me A LOT. XD

oh some dumb stuff did happen that i got pretty bothered by but it's ok. it's a misunderstanding and it will blow over soon. well , it better. but..... i will not be wearing skirts for the next 10 years or if i do, it will be those kind of LONG bohemian skirts. XD

and no, my skirt did not fall off if you were thinking tt. and i will be a sore loser the next time i lose. hahahaha no more dares for me. XD

yay! i love all my friends at church, gym and everywhere else!!!!! i had such a great time of fellowship with my fellow scream-ers.

i love all pastor monty hipp's messages! they're so funny and just fantastic. he's so honest and will admit his own personal mistakes and tell us true stories about himself so tt we can learn from them. for e.g, how he dated 2 girls at once and got into trouble, how he blew up a neighbour's mailbox and stuff. he's one cool pastor!!! and all the explaining the mechanics of girls and guys were hilarious. and how he made david lee do push ups and carried a another boy on his shoulder. his messages were not boring for a second.

and i have a great God up there in heaven who loves me so much and will accept anyone for who they are. Hooray!!!

whee!!! french delf is over!!!! hooray!!! and jess and i were lucky to get monsieur benoit for our oral examiner. coz he taught me before at moelc!!! XD and he's renewed our passion for french.

my dumb phone charger has gone conkers. i must place it at a super strategic position for it to charge.

I am excited to go vivo with shin and jess on thurs! XD yay! at last. candyland XD and rhema conference is coming up next week! :)

oh jess and i joined the christmas choir hahaha jess was telling me how lucky we were tt the podium was made of plastic and not glass. and during the auditions, she kept telling the auditioning guy that she'd break the windows and glass pannels. haha so funny! there was this really pro girl who sang so super nice. but then again, she is in the music ministry. jess was saying tt i was stating the obvious. haha.

and i was feeling a bit of nostalgia. why? because i used to be in choir. see the word used to? means i'm not in choir anymore, that's why. aiya, all the exercises we do for prac, all the breathing exercises, the instructor telling to drop our jaws, open up the mouth. all so familiar...
choir was so fun. with the skipping of recesses to prac, skipping classes for costume fittings, costumes tt look like funeral clothes, performing at chijimes with all the other chij pri schs, practicing for syf, being the oldest and most ancient members of the choir, having to stand on one leg during choir( so tt only 1 leg gets tired at a time, then switching back and forth)

sher misses choir from the nice songs we sang to the ugly black stockings we all had to wear

how sad. hahaha i'm off to play some games!!!

yesterday was fun. (see paul's blog) I'm going to finish my ice cream by the end of the week lor. yeaterday and today i ate 2 cones of ice cream. the day before the party i had an ice cream plus a big slice of ice cream cake.(jess faints) plus we found some chocolate coated marshmellows and sugar biscuits tt my aunt gave us. eating and eating and eating. how horrendous. haha

i'm webcaming yiyue now and talking nonsense. i can't see her tho. sad.

My mum bought me PINK skates! which means that i can never wear them in broad day light. unless i'm skating with a blind person. they seriously look like those barbie doll pink kind of skates. so my sis and i resorted to wearing them at the void deck at 10 plus at night when most ppl were gone.and the next time, we're going to the covered carpark to skate. hahaha. sad right. but it's so pink that i can't wear it out!!!!! my sis and i were talking about dying it blue or black though.

WEP is over. it was quite fun la. XD today, I had the great honour of pouring medicine from big humongous bottles into those puny little bottles. the medicine all got very chim names. paracetemol, leftose syrup and got somemore but i can't rmb. then we mixed medecine too!!!! SO FUN!!! 300ml of axol liquid (which came in a petrol bottle-like thing) and 600ml of something else. It's in a ratio of 1:2. so cool right!!! not scared that we mix wrong and kill some little kid.

Jess was telling me all sorts of dumb things so that i start laughing and pouring the medicine all over myself. some dumb stuff include her naming of 2 bottles of medicine pete and peter(see jess's blog) and insisting that she pour medicine with her left hand. SO STUBBBORN AH I TELL YOU! just use right hand la! she insisted on using left hand and ended up laughing so much that she spilt as much as she poured.
anyway, the nurses were so nice. they bought us chee cheong fun today after work. SO NICE RIGHT!!!

movie marathon yest was nice. jamie was a really pro emcee. luckily jess and i didn't have to emcee, we just had to sit there and help her. there was this treasure hunt thing at the start which we fully did not intend to participate in, so shin, fiona, jess and i just sat at the cafe area and pretended to be deep in thought. but too many ppl came up and asked us why we were thinking so long, so in the end, we went to try finding the pieces and when we got 1 piece of the map, we waved it around proudly and announced to the whole world that we got 1 piece. we didn't finish the hunt but it was fun after all.

We watched some show which wasn't chosen too well and we didn't watch 15 mins when lester jumped up with a horrified look and went to stop the movie. then we watched big fish which was quite confusing but quite cool. then we watched butterfly effect, which i watched for quite a while, eating sugared peanuts and chips but then i slept through most of it coz it was quite scary. only fiona was awake and she sed it was really nice but oh wellz. nearing the end of butterfly effect, fiona and lester were trying to wake me up and it was quite scary to wake up and see 2 people staring down at you. at first i thought it was morning already and we were going home. hahah after butterfly effect, we watched helen the baby fox. which i slept through after a while coz it got boring. then at 7.12, someone asked me what time we had to leave and i realised that we were LATE!!! so we rushed off home for breakfast. my description is so much more detailed than jess's. XD

cell today was the VERY LAST for 2006. and tmr, we're going to meet our new cell, which will be mixed :( and big mel is still in korea, so we'll be short of a leader tmr. so sad.luckily susanna will be there so there'll be at least 1 person we know.

oh ya, jess was writing that she had to wake me up at right? ( see jess's blog) . you know how she woke me up? by dancing in front of me and waving her arms about and shouting 'wake up sher' or something like that. hahaha

First day at work! we filed some of the patients casenotes and went to find some of the patients data and stuff. then jess and i accompanied Dr Ang to the wards. there was one poor little girl who couldn't eat i think so she was very clammy and had to put on a drip. but the doctor couldn't find her vein coz it collapsed or something.

so poor thing, and the girl was so brave and SO CUTE! Jess and I had to entertain her to distract her and so, we sang rudolph the red nose reindeer, a barney song and we were asking her about everything we thought of. like whether she liked math, eng, chi, sesame street, barney, cookie monster etc. to all she replied in a very cute nod and barely whispering yes. then we asked her which was her favourite character was. to which she answered in the cutest, smallest voice i've heard. 'elmo'. oh man so cute!!!!! then me and jess started singing 'elmo's world' whch was the only line we knew. the doctor jabbed the needle in, twisted it around and pushed it in harder. and she only winced a little bit.She didn't even cry lor. so brave. we feel her pain. jess was saying that she'd fight tooth and nail if the nurse so much as tried to give her a flu vaccination.

then.... jess and i spent 2 hours making those cotton swabs u use after injections. we did 3 big bottles! and we perfected the art of making rounded cotton swabs.

and then, we accompanied a patient to the x-ray and blood test department and slacked around coz the patient's grandma kept talking to us. the baby had to take blood samples from her finger and then she was wailing like crazy and everytime she looked at her bandaged finger, she started sobbing again and attempted to bite it off. so poor thing. and in the meantime, we tried in vain to pacify some poor kid who woke up and realised tt his mum was in the x-ray room with his little bro.

ohhhh my sis got her psle results today!!! it's quite ok and she's relatively pleased but it's borderline if she wants to apply rgs. hope the cut off point doesn't go up. please don't!

TOMORROW'S MOVIE MARATHON!!!!! i'm excited.

and jess and i are thinking of joining the christmas choir in church. and i had a nightmare about having horrible auditions for it yesterday. i dreamt that there was a pannel of 20 or more judges and most of the ppl auditioning were from CAMY( the music ministry) and there were so many people and we couldn't sing. oh so scary...

btw i forgot to day that we were stinky coz we came from gym. XD

ohhh i am going to cry!!!!!

as i was saying,

today jess and florence and i went to church to pass a church fren a vcd. and we were painfully aware of how clean smelling everyone else there was. So, some of the precautions we took

- make ourselves as small as possible to 'trap' the smell when playing twister ( imagine jess's horror when playing twister trapped between 2 ppl)
- fan our shirts up and down when no one was looking to get rid of the smell
- gave lester breathing space when talking to him so as to prevent him from choking, fainting and dying
- jess put her arm over the air purifier and managed to knock down a stand of flowers while doing so.

as you can imagine, we were laughing like maniacs.

and poor florence was hiding behind the christmas tree there.

and for fiona, i shall shorten my post and post it now instead of continuing.

went to church this morning to do something like rehearsals for sunday's announcements. it was quite funny during the kun jie and joel part.

kun jie: you know there's this big match coming up. brazil against singapore. And brazil will lose!
Joel: huh? I watch cartoon also know singapore will lose lah!
kun jie: Don't pshyco me ah! i had a dream that singapore will win and i am sure that singapore will win!
joel: how much are you betting?
Kun jie: i'm betting my entire life savings on singapore!
joel: but you've been betting for 10 years and never win a cent!
kun jie: losing is just the beginning. now i'm going to win.

aiya something like that lah. got somemore but i cant remember. hahahah kun jie was super funny lor. the air of confidence tt singapore would win brazil was just hilarious.

anyway, ballet was a horrendous experience. totally cannot follow so what did i end up doing? walking around, running wherever the ppl run and attempting to follow as best as i could. which did make me look like a crab. coz they were doing some clicky thing with the heels so i was frantically anyhowly clicking and jumping sideways. yea you get the idea. and the ppl were so bonded that it was really hard to talk to anyone of them. so upsetting.

so i cheered myself up by:
- eating a whole bowl of instant noodles even though i wasn't hungry (and i contemplated an ice cream too)
- rubbing myself with my nice soap for 5 minutes so now i smell like oat milk. XD
-talking on the phone which i'm currently doing as i type


i'm waiting for jess to send me the word document..................................so that i can print...................i'm bored..............................


oh oh oh one more funny thing.

i arrived late from ballet so i didn't change.

jess presses my ballet shoe
i shift.
then jess says she wants to press the hard part of the shoe. and i stare at her and say 'it's my toe' and jess says 'i thought it's the wood in the shoe'

Sher woke up at 8 something today. amazing. ok so i only woke up because i heard my phone buzz. but STILL... it was something ok :)

and this proves my point that my phone is on 24/7.

went for the discussion of the movie marathon stuff yest. I felt really redundant tho. but it's a start, i've never been involved very much in church till i switched church. oh u noe i almost went to vivo city after the FAM stuff ended and then i wouldn't be able to make it for the discussion but i just didn't feel like. ok, partly coz shin sed she wanted to go wif me. but it's cool right? my mum didn't even say stuff like ' why they tell you so last minute one' and jess told her grandma for the first time tt she was going church and she didn't even object. XD

haha but anyway hearing jess's panicky voice over the phone was funny.

Jess: where're you now?
Sher: going towards school ( which was true since i took 190 backwards from plaza sing)
Jess: Huh!!! ( in a very horrified tone) what time you finish?
Sher: i just finished
Jess: -breathes sigh of relief-

so i alighted near church and then walked ALL THE WAY to the mrt to pick her. soooooo far i tell you. then we had to run like half the way to church. and we arrived at church sweaty and stinking up the whole place. hahahah

my first ballet lesson in like 5 mths today. i'll be assessed by the teacher. so it's quite scary. but nvm, for barre i can just copy the steps for the slower exercises. and the fast one i pretend i haven't learnt before. and the floor kind i make sure i stand in the middle so that i can copy the ppl in front and if it requires turning around i copy the ppl at the back. character dancing i lost my character shoes. so... i don't have to click my shoes or anything which can be painful if you click your bone instead.
oh and most of the ppl in the class are 16 and above so i'll be the baby there. hopefully with lowered expectations.

so. it should be ok . i . think.











u noe i took like 2 hours to type this. coz i keep stopping halfway to worry about stuff

- an uncompleted rs
- a lousy GPA
- cheerleading and gym stuff
- a mixed cell instead of the nice all girl's cell
- FAM tommorow
- the possibility of having to lead a cell after sec 4 ( which is super not possible)
- aiya the whole church thing la. like praying aloud. ( don't be mistaken. church is still fun and the people are really nice and understanding)

typed it out and realised it was so disjointed so i shall put it in something like point form

1.back from sec 4 farewell at east coast. quite fun la.it was quite funny tt our treasure hunt clues got blown off by the wind. what a strong wind it was! just like broomshill burrows. and i was really pleased to find out tt i could still ride a bike even though the first and last time i rode by myself was last yr.

2. my m'sia trips gone down the drain. oh wellz. at least i can attend the christmas service at church and go for cca orientation for the last time in rgs.

3. what i like most about hols is that i dun really have to rush anywhere. esp when i'm coming home and it's pretty dark and windy and lighted by only the lamp posts. then it's so nice to stroll home and stare at the trees and listen to the water coming down from the spring somewhere up on the hill. just like today. XD dun have to worry about rushing home to do hw or stuff.

4. i might be starting ballet again soon. I hope i won't get bored of it and find it very troublesome again. esp last yr when it was after sch and gym. so sweaty and sticky no mood to dance already.

5. i'm annoyed with myself over something. it's a small thing but i'm just annoyed tt i always do these kind of things.

6. FAM is in 3, yes just 3 days. the banner's not done and we've not picked the deco out plus we have only $40 left.

I had typed a GREAT INTERESTING AND COHERENT story about today's banner painting. but since my internet explorer crashed and sher is too lazy to say it again, she will shorten it to just a few words.

SHER'S WISE WORDS OF WISDOM

1. DO NOT mistake thinner for water.
- or risk having severe shortage of white paint and wondering where the paint went to.

2. DO NOT start a paint fight with anyone before realising that water doesn't wash off paint easily
- ignore this and risk having multicoloured nippon paint flake off your skin. alternatively, end up fighting over cloth and thinner to wipe it off.

3. DO NOT do anything to make your eyes tear in public. even if your contacts hurt.

it been a both nice and bad day todae.

our class is the subject of so much talk amongst the teachers. almost every teacher complained about our class. how sad. but please don't split up 303. tt'd be so horrible.i can't imagine going to any other class. thankful tt some teachers are still nice to us. XD like ms chun and mr lim.

I realised tt some ppl in my class are very awe inspiring.

anw, after school, jess and i went to walk around the school with oce. actually we didn't go anywhere. we just went straight to oce's class. then we just sat around and watched oce toss my coins all over her class floor. haha, jess and i were the coin pickers. we pick up all the coins and oce starts rolling them on the floor again. hahaha, was a really dumb but funny game. then at bout 2, we went down to the canteen to watch oce eat her kimchi ramen and play heads or tails with the 50 cent coin.

after tt, jess and i went to subway for really really long. until about 6 something i think. the subway people were really nice not to chase us out even though we obviously finished our food very long ago. :) we just sat there talking and talking about lots of stuff.

anw, it's good tt it's end of school but it's quite sad tt we'll be sec 4s next year. and we can't go and disturb the seniors or do dumb stuff. and it's going to be the end of our time in rgs. and we'll go to jc and uni and then, before we know it, we'll be WORKING!!! and taking care of families and all that and then we won't be able to play or just walk around for fun. I can't imagine all that.

OH!!! i developed my big big picture of jess, paul peiqi and me . i haven't decided what to do with it though. i think it's too big to be my cover picture for my scrapbook but pasting on the wall like very wasted.

someone tell me i'm typing coherently today.XD

was baking cookies today. 6 trays in total. the cookies weren't very fragrant but nvm still edible. :) next time i'll use less flour.oh today, my mum and i used the pressure cooker for the first time in our lives. we watched the steam keep coming out of the hole and wondered how the pressure was going to build up. then we realised the lid wasn't closed properly.

haha.hmm... i want to start dancing ballet again. found a school which has grade 8 but it's on sat evening during church time. so got to look for another sch. watching all those youtube ballet videos make me feel like dancing. haha there was one day when i was determined to make my pointe shoes softer in an effort to make my arch more like the professional dancers. I hammered my shoe with a hole puncher until the hole puncher spoilt but the shoe's still so hard. haha anyway even if my shoes were as soft as my normal practice shoes my arch still wouldn't be nice. oh i'm having bad baller blues.

just got back from cell group!!!! which is church :) :)

so..... me and jess went to the special service without anyone.. haha quite weird but it was fun on the whole.It was on the rooftop wif those kind of candle light stuff. they had some band play songs while we had dinner. me and jess alreadi had dinner so we just had some marshmallows dipped in chocolate. XD haha nice. tt dumb jess dripped some chocolate on her white 201 class shirt and i didn't have tissue. then we were thinking how to wipe off then we both thought of using the gym attendance sheet of tissue so we peeled off the back of the attendance tissue and wiped her shirt wif tt. XD funny wunny.

cell was nice as well. the people there are very warm. 2nd time joinging them and we already feel comfortable enough to buy the cell grp pullover. haha very nice. when we all wore it down and crowded in the lift,someone commented tt we look like we're trying to break in someone's house. haha. :) coz all black u see

oohh 303 is such a nice class. today when i came into class, there wasn't a single person. then i saw bags and wondered where the rest of the class was. it was quite dark and i couldn't see very well but then i thought i heard something and thought it was the aircon. then bout 4 people came out behind the boards set up for obs screening. hahaha very funny, so we just kept adding people until like 3/4 the class was hiding behind the boards waiting for the next person to come along. haha lynette used the broom to brush cheryl lynn's feet and she started screaming. hahaha so funny. :) 303 is nice. XD

was scrapbooking wif jess just now. yay, i put all my 111 uk pics in place. XD just left the captioning and decorating to do now. wah i forgot a lot of the places. both of us were getting worked up arguing whether we went oxford or birmingham first and where we ate fish and chips and when we had the lasagne. jess suggested looking at clothes patterns but tt dumbo wears green everyday. so we called paul. :) haha


ohhh went to j8 with yihui, yiyue, shimin, jessie on fri. prob going ice skating too on sun. hooray!!!

hmmm... exams are over.

went wif jess and shin to suntec city to get shin's LOST dvds today. quite fun. oh i was carrying something tt we bought from carrefour then the sensors started beeping so the security guards started checking receipts and all then when they didn't find anything tt, they asked all of us to put our bags at the counter. hahaha so good cos we justwent to shop without carrying bags then only when we were leaving suntec then we took out bags. :) :) haha

went to subway to study wif jess and shin today. wah we made SO much noise and occupied 6 seats from bout 10- 3 something. haha then halfway jess went to get juice then she took my wallet wif her. when she came back, jess stood at the stairs of subway and threw my wallet over shin's head onto the table. shin was so shocked!! hahaha she shouted so loudly that the WHOLE ENTIRE subway turned so quiet and stared at us. hahahha amazing that they still let us sit there. hahahaha then we were all laughing so much. over a lot of dumb things. oh and we finished our sub real early so to sit there, we pretended to still have our sub and we wrapped the paper back and just left it there for the next few hours. hahaha, mmm english paper was so hard. all the vocab i guess one. then the questions were pretty tough too.... haiz... tmr's chinese oh noooo what if i cannot understand the question for bao zhang du hou gan. then i cannot write qing jng wen. oh noo i better understand lah.

fringe

Now i have a question just like shin the last time.
Also about hair.

no no no, i'm not going to cut it.

should i put my fringe up? or should i leave it and layer it at the sides?

cos i look bald on one side since i shifted almost all my hair to one side.
but then i look stupid with all my fringe all stuck to my head. so i'll have to tie my hair normally and then twist the fringe on top of my hai, which would make it slightly puffy.

at least its not an irreversible change. i can change it back anytime.

if i put it up, it is... not so pokey in my eyes and it gives me less cause for worry during spot checks. but then i have to make sure my hair isn't heavy. if not it sticks flat. and without fringe, its more obvious that i have small eyes. haiz.

i tried it yesterday, but that was after i bathed and my hair dried, so it was more uh fluffy? wispy? i dunno. but anyway, i tried again after gym and it was A HORROR.

aiyo i dunno, maybe i'll try tommorow. anyway i can just unpin it if the results are too disastrous.

today loads of people were having the moe survey thing so there were really little people who were lucky enuf not to get selected and who took 3rd lang. that left me and jessie from our cls. hahahaha.


so we just went to the foyer, i smsed mdm loy to ask whether got french but she nvr reply. so not sure whether got french or not then we saw the bus and we went to general office to ask if have 3rd lang today. then one of the person showed us one whole stack of 3rd lang examination times and told us very seriously tt there was orals today. then we sed we thought canceled already? then the person sed hav and tt the bus leaves at 1.45.
so jessie rushed to buy rice, i rushed to buy bread then got on the bus.

there were like 2 people on the bus. and jessie found out tt they were just hitching a ride to bishan, so we were the only two going to moelc for lesson. then mdm loy replied and asked me who i am so i smsed back and waited for her reply. we were finishing our food when mdm loy replied again. no class! hahaha, jessie SCREAMED AT THE TOP OF HER LUNGS, 'GET OFF THE BUS NOW!' so we grabbed our stuff and scrambled off before the bus moved, then jessie flew out of the bus still chewing, rice box still open, rice still haven't finish yet.

hahahahaha it was just really funny at the time.


my mum was also being funny today. we saw the ad for the new show after 'my lovely samsoon' then my mum was really suprised and sed ' wah, i love samson so fast over already ah. hahahahahhahahahaha

then she told us tt my dad was coming home today, so we were all waiting from 5 plus until 8 plus, then she went to check the flight ticket again. he's coming home tmr. hahahahaha

NOOOO!!!!!!! School is not starting!!! not so fast!!!!!! i'm not done studying for maths test. haha, i still don't know when to add asymtotes to my graphs hahaha, not even after mr ng's very long and confusing reply.

what have i done this hols.
- went training
- gone running ( i dun care if jess ran 12 km and i ran for 10 mins , i still ran! It counts, haha)
- done some of my pts
- uh... planned to make cookies
- and ......planned to go swimming, jogging and a lot of other stuff that never got done
- gone shopping once? or twice?

hahahaha, what a meaningful holiday! x) i'm sure i did other stuff, but i can't think of it right now.

today: jess came over before we went church since there was no gym today.
We were SUPPOSED to do work. haha, we did a bit then slacked the rest of the time. haha oh and we tagged a few ppl's blogs, it was funny. x)

wah this is irritating!

over the past month 17 chinese ppl added me and they ALWAYS say the same thing!!!!

my sis just got this 18 disc jap show thing. and it comes with 1 disc of music, quite nice. so we were trying to sing along and we obviously can't speak jap and the tape doesn't come with lyrics, we were stringing all the wds together. so, i decided to try and write out the lyrics. i replayed the 1st song over 10 times trying to copy the wds. hahaha, whatever it sounds like i just copy. haha. all the jap wds so hard to hear. dunno what they're singing also. hahaha, lucky it wasn't a fast song so i play for 2 seconds, pause and write, play another few seconds, pause and write. hahahha, still haven't finished 1 song.

3rd sept

Went to the new church today. It was really something different from the brethren church i
attend. the people there occasionally spoke in tongue and it was really cool coz we don'r have tt
in our church.
and i'm missing it
it was a charismatic church as i found out later. the message was good as well. but i though tt it was a bit too big and a bit of the ask people to go in front so quite weird sometimes. but it was fun anyway. good for when my dad's away so we can't drive to pasir panjang.
i dreamt of it last night
hols go by really quickly. soon it will be term 4 week 1 already. Oh no!!! math test... i'm going to die, why is math two subject credits? :( i'm always waiting to hear mr ng say ' no one failed this test' and i can breathe again. lol. esp the last log test. it was so horrible. i did so badly but it was better than a fail again.

teacher's day

went back to chij today. i was super early, reached at 11.30 when the meeting time was 12.30. haha so stood around for a while, the security person didn't let me in. At 12, chey came. haha so long haven't seen her, abt 2 years. wow... we had a good chat while waiting for the others, showed me her class pics, hahaha, very nice. Isa and Jo both were late coz isa missed all her 3 buses! and jo was let off late.

So while waiting for them to reach at 1.30, chey and I went to westmall to eat chicken rice, very yummy!!! I love chicken rice! Then jo sed tt she reached westmall so she came to find us. Then came the funny part, I saw charmaine Hon and one more person beside her. I asked her, ay where's joanne? She looked at me real funny and pointed to the person next to her!!!!!!!!!!! WAH!!! CANNOT RECOGNIZE MY OWN CLASSMATE!!! HAHAHHA!!!! Then chey obviously didn't hear coz we got up walked a few steps and asked me , 'only u know them right? not my friends right' and i sed tt's joanne and charmaine!!!! and she was' HUH? That's joanne?' hahahahhahahahahahahaha SO FUNNY!!!!! Joanne looks so different!
We met up with a lot of ij ppl at the busstop. so long haven't seen them!!! All look so diff esp since it was 3 years since i last saw them.
We were supposed to meet Isa at the busstop. So I thought i saw isa and i started waving. The ppl at the bus stop waved back but 'isa' just kept staring at me and like asking me what i wanted. i was thinking,' what is she doing? why keep standing there' so i decided to call her. isa answered and was ' sher, i'm across the road on the left'
I was waving to the wrong ppl......LOL!!!!!!

Isa looks diff too, more girly actually i think. hahah, grown her hair long, nice. :)

We only saw mrs wong for a short while coz she had to send some students for robotics comp, then we just sat down to chit chat.

mmm.... so long ago..... i've forgotten how cute primary 1s are. hahahaha!

diary shopping

today went to buy a diary with jess and flo. superrr fun!!!!!

It was raining so the three of us with zero umbrella stood inthe foyer trying to borrow umbrella, then we went the sheltered bus stop and tried to borrow umbrella again. Thank you Sijia and one of florence's friends who donated their umbrellas to us.

hahhahah, we went to eat british chippy. bought 1 bag of the fish thing and still cannot finish. hahahah. but it was yummy even though jess was claiming she felt fats sliding down and was shaking salt out of her fish. :)

then, we went to taka, got a bit, just a bit lost but we found it, walked round and round trying to find the talking hall. hahaha, we spent super long trying to find the perfect diary. jess was being picky, haha must be thick, cheap, nice quality paper and nice design. hahah ok la actually i was being picky too. hahaha, in the end we gave up the cheap coz jess had vouchers. feel so bad. lolz lolz, i have a really nice (i know it's nice coz both jess and florence thought it was absoloutely disgusting, :)) diary. hahahahahaha, actually jess's one was pretty classic and more like a diary than mine. I couldn't upload the pic ofmy cover page but nvm, it's my dp. Poor florence, had to wait for us for like 1 hour in there. she was really bored, but she was jess's advisor since no one trusted my taste. sobs.

hahaha, then we went cold storage, got cucumber sushi, drinks and all. shoulders all dying. hahahaha.

meeting primary sch frens tmr. haven't seen isa, chey, jo, maureen for so long. too bad amelia can't make it. first time in 3 years we go back,i think.-guilty look-
misuzu and the others went back today, aiya. We should have arranged earlier then like class gathering as well. nvm. there's next year.

i must not keep thinking i have hols. lol, start work sher!

cheesecake

My Cheesecake is like mousse cake.
hahahahha. and i wasted 5 teaspoons of PRECIOUS ,IMPORTED FROM UK bournville cadbury drink powder on it.
and there isn;t even the taste of the thing... I burnt my dumb toblerone.
That cheesecake cost me bout 15 dollarsd plus. So ex, haha, but it was FUN!!!!

baking is always fun!:) just chucking in whatever choc i could find. 1 bar of hershey ~sobs~, 1 bar of toblerone, and 5 table spoons of choc powder. that jelly like cake is laden with fats i tell u. hahahaahhaha so much cream!!!

today three months ago... 10 minutes ago...

I wish i were more like my dad sometimes. he's natural at just talking and making friends. yesterday, he made friends with an old lady he hasn't met before just coz she was sitting near us. hahaha
today, he talked more to the person i was supposed to talk to than i did
It was a really stressful day.rather stressful lunch time.
We were supposed to meet this french guy from paris for lunch and everyone was expecting me to speak perfect fluent french. i brought a dictionary, a noun book and tried to memorise a lot of french phrases, questions and all that stuff. it really helped man, i just became a ridiculous bunch of nerves and i was totally stammering, not only stammering but stammering RUBBISH. the only fluent french sentence i remember saying was to tell him je ne comprends pas, tt i didn't understand whatever he just sed, I was so lousy!!! lol. well, i tried to understand wat he sed but i didn;t get it, he tried again in english, i STILL didn't get it in the end we gave up.lol. What a great impression.

Well good thing he understood quite a bit of english. so my dad was doin most of the talking. my dad kept saying "talk to him, practice ur french" then everyones looks at me expectantly and i get nervous and everything french just flew out of my head. haiz... i feel so bad. It was specially arranged for me to prac my french. My aunt didn't even want to come even tho she was the host so tt i would't get so nervous and so tt i could talk more, and what did i do? i was just ridiculously nervous.It seems more funny now tt i think of my reaction. my dad was asking me to translate pepper into french and i just forgot. then the guy supplied the answer after a round of handsigns and pointing, 'poivre', lol.
he's got a cool accent, very strong. can't really understand his french too coz the accent is too strong and it's too fast.his name is something like revolin? not sure but anyway my dad called him iodine coz tt's the closest he got. haha, then when he sed his uni's name it sounded like oxide university.
and my grandfather was being really helpful, see me only tell me not to wear dangly earrings ( the one shin,fiona and char gave) coz it's ugly then ask me to cut my hair short. hahaha, he's been asking me to cut it short for like, forever.then when 'iodine' sed tt he doesn't play football, my granddad was saying he can't play coz he's too short. -_- must be at least 5 feet 6 to play. hahah only know how to insult ppl. hahaha, anyway, i was glad when it was over. well, sort of, but i had a guilty feeling the whole way. and i made a lot of excuses not to show him around s'pore which was really mean of me, but anyway, he's not my guest, he's my aunt's guest. lol.

I'm annoyed at my own reactions, sheesh, i am weird.

had orals today. I was the first to go, so scary... mr chong was quite nice. he gave out packets of camomile tea to the oral ppl. lao shi also let us off school 5 mins earlier. haha. we were such good audiences, coz we developed some kind of hand signal to signify louder or faster ,slower. then we had a time keeper signal the last 30 seconds and the last 10 seconds. haha, we were sniffing the tea bag before our turns then i had a headache whch lasted until oral was over. oh ya, before Q and A, the teacher was like, "shermine, i would like to remind you that this is an exam, you should be neat and tidy, etc" and then she was sayin about my long fringe and i started panicking a bit then i didn't know what to do but try and make my hair go back a bit. so scary. My questions were something bout whether i eat fast food, why i chose the topic, how to prevent the effects and what other ill effects of fast food besides the social one and the physical problems. so, at least not as bad as jess's question. yep, we finished at 3.30, half and hour before time. haha...

sunday

today, there was a really cool new zealander lady who came with us to church. Her name was Raewyn. It's welsh and it's such such a nice name!! pronounced Rei-wen. haha, the way she talks abt s'pore is like how we talk abt uk or other holiday places. i never knew tt s'pore could be so appealing to other ppl. lol... like how our food is so yummy and the road system is great.

We went for lunch together and we ordered so much food. hahaha chicken rice, mee goreng, some mutton soup, wanton mee, chendol, some fruit jelly thing and some bobochacha? dunno how to spell tt. haha We were eating like pigs ah hahaha.

oh ya then I bought a packet coke and she she stared at it and asked me, "whatis that?" I was like"uh... coke" and she went" coke in a bag?" hahahaha very funny. haha, she was also trying to get used to see everything 'go up' like the flats and shopping malls, haha. oh and she sed tt when she went to m'sia, she was trying to look for the sheep, coz she was so used to seeing sheep. hahaha! she thought that the ppl in s'pore were really frenly, offering to help her and stuff. haha, just like when we were overseas.... :)

gym today was.... more productive i guess.coz mr teo was there all the time so we couldn't really slack very much.He cracked us again. We just practiced front pike and backsomer for most of training. conditioning was quite short but it killed me. haha, stupid push up clap.

was looking at all the uk pics yesterday, made me so sad again... it's almost 2 and half months ago already, so fast. I miss uk!!!
and i miss ballet too. it sounds kinda dumb since i was so eager to leave. but it's so weird having tues and thurs free now tt aesthetics is over too. haha but i won't go back. my teacher was prob more than happy to get rid of me, she wouldn't let me go back anyway. haiz, miss almost everything abt it except the teacher. hahaha

it feels like christmas is coming soon. :) prob won't be in s'pore again tho, most likely to be holidaying with jazi's family. :) We've been roasting chickens in increasing size so tt if we roast a turkey we'll get it right the first time. i'm going to get sick of chicken by christmas hahaha...

Today's been a funny day. My mum was nagging at me to finish my water so I was gulping it down and when she came into the room i took an extra big gulp to show her tt i was drinking. then i suddenly had this urge to laugh. the more i controlled the more i needed to laugh. My mum was watching me and then she laughed. I couldn't take it anymore and I laughed ALL the water out, like fountain like tt, wah so much water all over the floor, chair and myself. i was super wet and i couldn't stop laughing. I couldn't even get up. hahaha...

FAM (farewell alma mater) is keeping me busy. meetings almost every cle lesson, cover designs, delegation of work all due soon... feels like rs . and oh... a sec 2 is in charge of us... ... oh well... it feels like we're planning for some failure event. so many sec 4s aren't even going. quite sad. I hope we don't make the remaining ones disappointed. :)

It's NDP now, but i'm not realli watching. :p doing chi PT now, tying to correct all my cuo zi. hai, must do well for tt to pull my chi grades up... speaking of grades, my maths was realli lousy but i was pleased tt i passed. so i was feeling kinda like an idiot when I was sitting next to charm and yiyue and they were not so happy with their higher than mine grades and I was, well, content. :)
hahaha.

i just realised tt somethings on the skin are set by default like the 38 days thing. I will change it when i find out how to do tt.hahaha. I also dunno what's all those AAA at the top. hai. haha.

I'm totally lousy at these computer things...i was trying to changet the template change until so irritated with myself. dunno what i'm doing also... hai
