3 levels of wanting a dress

I have rummaged through my entire closet for something to wear to the ball next week and i've come up with no outfit but a new philosophy


Level 1: Dressing to be presentable 

easy level, anything goes as long as it looks classy and fabulous (:


Level 2: Dressing to impress a guy

slightly trickier, but not that hard. something feminine, flowy or sexy and chic would work. colourful works, but classic works as well really.


Level 3: Dressing to intimidate the rest of the girls

ok this is really hard. something that fits in the crowd doesn't work. it just has to be gorgeoussss. it has to make u radiate.


I need a level 3 dress !!!!!!!!!!!!!

i have atrocious eating and sleeping habits.


yesterday i had pizza, carbonara and char kway teow.

today i had brownies with ice cream, pie and butter rice


omg im going to get fat and die.

and i also sleep at weirdo hours every day.

the only good thing i do is that i drink a cup of hot green tea in the morning and another after dinner.

hopefully it helps keep the fat off

i finally have a pretty awesome social life in NZ and i'm going home in a month's time. i don't really like to talk about going home with my NZ friends. ):

MarQ Party

anyway, went to the club party on Saturday with J and his friends! (; met a superr awesome and pretty girl, H (: and we really cliqued! (: we both love dancing, so we danced together as well! (: and she was in black and i was in red, so it was a nice colour group too. hahah

i think we were pretty hot tgt cos the guys were always where we were :p

hahahah. anyway, first time clubbing for real (:

everything that's on my checklist to happen at a club happened!

guys buying us drinks, trying to get our number, and a fight which ended in someone being thrown out of the club!


so yeps, it was fun, and i really had fun dancing too! (:

i realised that a good way of keeping a happy distance for all is to put your hand on the shoulder of the guy you're dancing with, so that he can't come too close and you can push him away if he tries but it looks sexy at the same time (:


of course there are the horrible ones who try to grab us while we're dancing with someone else. that kind just glare at them and push them away.

more than one person tried to grab H and I at the same time while i was dancing with her! >:0

the guys who went with us were gentlemanly though, and always looked out for us (: (: so nice (:

and met some new cute guys :D

out of all the guys i met at the club, 2 of the cutest guys managed to convince me to give my number, and 1 of J's friends directly asked J for my facebook. lols

Burst into Spring!

was telling Z that i wanted to picnic before i left christchurch, and the next day, Z told me about this spring flower event! (:

sounded pretty cool, so we organized an outing and off we went :D

 yayy (: happy group of friends at botanic gardens! (:

 having the guys around is always good (: get them to take photos of us hahah :D

chillaxed at the park and ate snacks and listened to music for a while then we headed to the mall for starbucks (:

nice fun outing even though we were all so dead tired lols.

duckling

found an injured little duckling on the field when i was walking home ): it was struggling, so i picked it up and brought it back. didn't know what to do, but i called Z to tell him.

Z helped me cut a tissue bed for the duckling, and we tried to feel it's heartbeat, but i couldnt feel anything. Z insisted it was dead, cos he didn't see it moving before haha

but yea we put it there and when i came back it died for real cos the body was cold.

then Z n I went to bury it lols and put a rose over it. haha

i bet he thinks i'm being silly, but thanks for accompanying me anyway. (:

International Food festival

 first up, a super cute duckling (: i saw him this morning on my way to school for dance rehearsal, and chased him around the field trying to get a good shot of this little darling (: he 'pipped' so loud and ran away hahah





Malaysian open house and international food festival

went out with Z and JY to the open house for malaysian food (: thought that it was like a market or something, did not expect it to literally be someone's house. haha so it was like crashing some house party, and especially when im the only singaporean i think? haha amongst the malaysians. oh wells i can still blend in i hope haha.

Hosting my first ever dinner party

Lunch and trip to riccarton mall


J suggested an italian restaurant for lunch! i'm ups for anything new that a local kiwi would suggest so off we went! (:

i got a chicken pizza with BBQ sauce (: really awesome! it's really tangy and full of chicken pieces! so good! (: 

he opted for gnocchi carbonara (: was really good too, though i was telling him about the awesome carbonara at antoinette restaurant in singapore and told him i'd take him if he ever comes .

Dinner Party



it was really exciting preparing for the dinner (: felt very excited and nervous too!

I also tided up the common area and cleaned up the place cos i wanted to make things nice for my guests hahaha

shifted the time earlier to 5.30pm

 here's my crepe batter, its not that smooth cos i didn't have a blender, i hand whisked it so there's a little unmelted butter oh wells

i'm so glad that even though it was a last minute thing, 6 out of the 7 people i invited turned up (:

i had prepared quite a lot of food and i thought we were not going to finish cos everyone was getting full haha, but we hanged out and continued munching and snacking and all the food was finished at the end of the night (:

Thanks to everyone who came and made me feel appreciated even though my crepes were more like pancakes hahaha


i really enjoyed hosting this dinner (:  it was fun just to hang out with friends. i will miss this incredibly in just a month's time when im not here anymore.

I like you. I mean I actually, like you. I realized it a while ago and I’m not thrilled because I already know that I shouldn’t. I can’t. I won’t.

There’s no happy ending that could possibly come of this – not even a half decent one. Not for you, not for I. If only there were a way to enjoy your company while controlling and diffusing this pesky crush, that would be ideal.

sunday ballroom

told u guys it was a good weekend, i had dance everyday how could it not be good lols.


anyway, went out to a ballroom/latin lesson. haha my friend was really lost in the ballroom part, but better at latin haha

anyway, fun for me although i was also lost in foxtrot, and i was by far the best in latin cos the rest were social dancers (:

and after samba, the teacher told me that i was beautifully trained with great hip action :D

i'd like to think that i did improve since i reached NZ.

hahah they wanted me to do a demo, but uh shyy

although reality check today cos i have private lesson. lols, which means im going to get corrected like mad again. haha

either way i'm doomed when i go back man ): so oh wells. keep happy, keep dancing. ): think about it later. sigh

Saturday Night Fever!

 so I was supposed to go with L and J to check out salsa latina, the place that J works at part-time, but L was still really tired from the previous night out, so she didn't go!

J and I were pretty tired too, but J was performing, and I'm always up for dancing haha so we headed out in the end!

 J was the emcee for the night!

 J's performance was of course really awesome, and the salsa teams that performed were not too bad as well, and there were finally some hot girls!!!! haha, n some sexy costumes (: 

i had lots of fun dancing really (:

i can now keep up with the bachata and i learnt merengue on the spot as well. haha i'm still quite lost for salsa, but whatever, just keep moving haha.

Plenty of nice people and i managed to get to dance quite a bit which was really nice (:

they have socials every thurs night so i definitely hope i can get to go again, and this time with L as well, hahah (:

we didn't stay that late cos i have church the next day!

so we headed off for supper which was just a short drive away. lots of the people from the salsa club were there too lols.
