every now and then, i really miss thailand, and the thai people, their language, their culture, their friendliness
the people of thailand are pretty wonderful.
i miss them ):
miss the burmese people too, miss tomato village.
miss the food, haha
tried not to think too much about it when i left thailand. occupied myself with the thoughts of preparing for dance, for new zealand, for my singapore life again.
but i always knew that tho i kept complaining of it as a jungle and bathing in shit water, haha i'd miss it somehow.
dont miss the giant cicadas tho haha
but yea, i'd probably do it over again (:
fieldstudies is really one of the awesomest stuff i've done in uni. probably the only time i see what i'm studying useful to real life.
miss the community life there.. almost makes me wish i was back there (:
miss living in a little mud hut with joleen, having to plan when to bathe cos theres no heater and the temp is so colddddd
miss my cats super a lot. wonder how they are.
miss our cute interviewees like mr liu
miss thailand. won't be back there for a while i think, you just can't go through fieldstudies and catch a glimpse of local thailand, and go back to enjoying the touristic parts of south thailand. haha
