Florence Part 2 : Fiesole Day Trip

so after London, I went back to stay in Florence for another week to spend more time with T, and for more gelato of course!

I decided to take a bus out to Fiesole, which was a small town just half an hour away from Florence by bus.

It was quite a serendipitous trip, because I happened to ask for directions at the bus station, and so made friends with a swedish guy who was also going to fiesole for the day, so we decided to hang out a bit together.

Anyway, on the bus there, a local italian guy told us where to find the spot for the best view, and so here we are, overlooking Florence i think

anyway fiesole is really quite small, but we spent some time at the Fiesole museum

and fiesole is famous for this amphitheatre, which is really nice, and a perfect spot to chill out. it was great weather that day too, sunny and warm!

one of the cooler exhibits at the museum was this skeleton of some ancient man. the rest were pots and other ceramics, which im sure is pretty cool and has lots of history.. but they just look like pots to me.

after the museum, we just went to visit the ancient baths and ruins that lay around, which provided some good photo ops. I enjoyed the sun and scenery, and it was good to get away from cities for a bit. (:

okay this is a short post because all we did was hang out on a terrace and sip wine, eat cakes and chit chat for most of the day, therefore i don't have pictures hahah

Love,
shermine
