started this post yesterday but was too tired to finish.
long day today. had church in the morn, and then dance lesson with the rest of the DGs and then followed by grooming lesson.
dance was actually really fun!!! i really enjoyed it (:
and the grooming lesson was quite useful too, we did a questionnaire on personal style, and i think the trainer was quite hot. haha
the girls are nice too, friendly bunch, and they always talk nonsense on the whatsapp group, but its quite funny.
then our mentor/organiser has a mini talk with us, preparing us for what's to come ahead, and really encouraging us.
she said that what ppl often dont see is the emotional journey tt all of us take on the way to the pageant, which is really quite true.
all of us have lots of insecurities, fears etc. and ppl can be very critical and harsh towards girls in pageants. but i spose that's a reality we have to face when we set ourselves up for some level of public exposure. one girl even cried. :/
at least the girls are super sweet n cute to each other. that's nice (:
i am also very happy that S agreed to help me out with the dance (((: i am super excited about the dance, cos we are choreo-in g our own, and i can't wait to dance!!glad i got someone who will look good on camera and can dance. cos besides the fact tt of cos it affects me, i dont want whoever helps me to be upset if there are unglam pics all over the place.
and love bonito is so awesome to sponsor our casual wear attire for the finals!!! :D
Pre judging is happening on 2nd december and finals are 15th december! (:
finals will consist of casual wear catwalk, evening gown catwalk, talent segment, and then they will select 10 to ask questions.
it's a good experience so far. am glad i stuck with it and got to experience this once in a life time (:
