teacher's day
went back to chij today. i was super early, reached at 11.30 when the meeting time was 12.30. haha so stood around for a while, the security person didn't let me in. At 12, chey came. haha so long haven't seen her, abt 2 years. wow... we had a good chat while waiting for the others, showed me her class pics, hahaha, very nice. Isa and Jo both were late coz isa missed all her 3 buses! and jo was let off late.
So while waiting for them to reach at 1.30, chey and I went to westmall to eat chicken rice, very yummy!!! I love chicken rice! Then jo sed tt she reached westmall so she came to find us. Then came the funny part, I saw charmaine Hon and one more person beside her. I asked her, ay where's joanne? She looked at me real funny and pointed to the person next to her!!!!!!!!!!! WAH!!! CANNOT RECOGNIZE MY OWN CLASSMATE!!! HAHAHHA!!!! Then chey obviously didn't hear coz we got up walked a few steps and asked me , 'only u know them right? not my friends right' and i sed tt's joanne and charmaine!!!! and she was' HUH? That's joanne?' hahahahhahahahahahahaha SO FUNNY!!!!! Joanne looks so different!
We met up with a lot of ij ppl at the busstop. so long haven't seen them!!! All look so diff esp since it was 3 years since i last saw them.
We were supposed to meet Isa at the busstop. So I thought i saw isa and i started waving. The ppl at the bus stop waved back but 'isa' just kept staring at me and like asking me what i wanted. i was thinking,' what is she doing? why keep standing there' so i decided to call her. isa answered and was ' sher, i'm across the road on the left'

Isa looks diff too, more girly actually i think. hahah, grown her hair long, nice. :)

diary shopping
today went to buy a diary with jess and flo. superrr fun!!!!!
It was raining so the three of us with zero umbrella stood inthe foyer trying to borrow umbrella, then we went the sheltered bus stop and tried to borrow umbrella again. Thank you Sijia and one of florence's friends who donated their umbrellas to us.
hahhahah, we went to eat british chippy. bought 1 bag of the fish thing and still cannot finish. hahahah. but it was yummy even though jess was claiming she felt fats sliding down and was shaking salt out of her fish. :)
then, we went to taka, got a bit, just a bit lost but we found it, walked round and round trying to find the talking hall. hahaha, we spent super long trying to find the perfect diary. jess was being picky, haha must be thick, cheap, nice quality paper and nice design. hahah ok la actually i was being picky too. hahaha, in the end we gave up the cheap coz jess had vouchers. feel so bad. lolz lolz, i have a really nice (i know it's nice coz both jess and florence thought it was absoloutely disgusting, :)) diary. hahahahahaha, actually jess's one was pretty classic and more like a diary than mine. I couldn't upload the pic ofmy cover page but nvm, it's my dp. Poor florence, had to wait for us for like 1 hour in there. she was really bored, but she was jess's advisor since no one trusted my taste. sobs.
hahaha, then we went cold storage, got cucumber sushi, drinks and all. shoulders all dying. hahahaha.

cheesecake
My Cheesecake is like mousse cake.
hahahahha. and i wasted 5 teaspoons of PRECIOUS ,IMPORTED FROM UK bournville cadbury drink powder on it.
and there isn;t even the taste of the thing... I burnt my dumb toblerone.
That cheesecake cost me bout 15 dollarsd plus. So ex, haha, but it was FUN!!!!
baking is always fun!:) just chucking in whatever choc i could find. 1 bar of hershey ~sobs~, 1 bar of toblerone, and 5 table spoons of choc powder. that jelly like cake is laden with fats i tell u. hahahaahhaha so much cream!!!

today three months ago... 10 minutes ago...
I wish i were more like my dad sometimes. he's natural at just talking and making friends. yesterday, he made friends with an old lady he hasn't met before just coz she was sitting near us. hahaha
today, he talked more to the person i was supposed to talk to than i did
It was a really stressful day.rather stressful lunch time.
We were supposed to meet this french guy from paris for lunch and everyone was expecting me to speak perfect fluent french. i brought a dictionary, a noun book and tried to memorise a lot of french phrases, questions and all that stuff. it really helped man, i just became a ridiculous bunch of nerves and i was totally stammering, not only stammering but stammering RUBBISH. the only fluent french sentence i remember saying was to tell him je ne comprends pas, tt i didn't understand whatever he just sed, I was so lousy!!! lol. well, i tried to understand wat he sed but i didn;t get it, he tried again in english, i STILL didn't get it in the end we gave up.lol. What a great impression.
Well good thing he understood quite a bit of english. so my dad was doin most of the talking. my dad kept saying "talk to him, practice ur french" then everyones looks at me expectantly and i get nervous and everything french just flew out of my head. haiz... i feel so bad. It was specially arranged for me to prac my french. My aunt didn't even want to come even tho she was the host so tt i would't get so nervous and so tt i could talk more, and what did i do? i was just ridiculously nervous.It seems more funny now tt i think of my reaction. my dad was asking me to translate pepper into french and i just forgot. then the guy supplied the answer after a round of handsigns and pointing, 'poivre', lol.
he's got a cool accent, very strong. can't really understand his french too coz the accent is too strong and it's too fast.his name is something like revolin? not sure but anyway my dad called him iodine coz tt's the closest he got. haha, then when he sed his uni's name it sounded like oxide university.
and my grandfather was being really helpful, see me only tell me not to wear dangly earrings ( the one shin,fiona and char gave) coz it's ugly then ask me to cut my hair short. hahaha, he's been asking me to cut it short for like, forever.then when 'iodine' sed tt he doesn't play football, my granddad was saying he can't play coz he's too short. -_- must be at least 5 feet 6 to play. hahah only know how to insult ppl. hahaha, anyway, i was glad when it was over. well, sort of, but i had a guilty feeling the whole way. and i made a lot of excuses not to show him around s'pore which was really mean of me, but anyway, he's not my guest, he's my aunt's guest. lol.
I'm annoyed at my own reactions, sheesh, i am weird.

orals
had orals today. I was the first to go, so scary... mr chong was quite nice. he gave out packets of camomile tea to the oral ppl. lao shi also let us off school 5 mins earlier. haha. we were such good audiences, coz we developed some kind of hand signal to signify louder or faster ,slower. then we had a time keeper signal the last 30 seconds and the last 10 seconds. haha, we were sniffing the tea bag before our turns then i had a headache whch lasted until oral was over. oh ya, before Q and A, the teacher was like, "shermine, i would like to remind you that this is an exam, you should be neat and tidy, etc" and then she was sayin about my long fringe and i started panicking a bit then i didn't know what to do but try and make my hair go back a bit. so scary. My questions were something bout whether i eat fast food, why i chose the topic, how to prevent the effects and what other ill effects of fast food besides the social one and the physical problems. so, at least not as bad as jess's question. yep, we finished at 3.30, half and hour before time. haha...

today, there was a really cool new zealander lady who came with us to church. Her name was Raewyn. It's welsh and it's such such a nice name!! pronounced Rei-wen. haha, the way she talks abt s'pore is like how we talk abt uk or other holiday places. i never knew tt s'pore could be so appealing to other ppl. lol... like how our food is so yummy and the road system is great.
We went for lunch together and we ordered so much food. hahaha chicken rice, mee goreng, some mutton soup, wanton mee, chendol, some fruit jelly thing and some bobochacha? dunno how to spell tt. haha We were eating like pigs ah hahaha.
oh ya then I bought a packet coke and she she stared at it and asked me, "whatis that?" I was like"uh... coke" and she went" coke in a bag?" hahahaha very funny. haha, she was also trying to get used to see everything 'go up' like the flats and shopping malls, haha. oh and she sed tt when she went to m'sia, she was trying to look for the sheep, coz she was so used to seeing sheep. hahaha! she thought that the ppl in s'pore were really frenly, offering to help her and stuff. haha, just like when we were overseas.... :)

i realised tt ppl prob won't understand all the earlier comments coz they didn't see the 'before' blog. haha. nvm.
gym today was.... more productive i guess.coz mr teo was there all the time so we couldn't really slack very much.He cracked us again. We just practiced front pike and backsomer for most of training. conditioning was quite short but it killed me. haha, stupid push up clap.
was looking at all the uk pics yesterday, made me so sad again... it's almost 2 and half months ago already, so fast. I miss uk!!!
and i miss ballet too. it sounds kinda dumb since i was so eager to leave. but it's so weird having tues and thurs free now tt aesthetics is over too. haha but i won't go back. my teacher was prob more than happy to get rid of me, she wouldn't let me go back anyway. haiz, miss almost everything abt it except the teacher. hahaha
it feels like christmas is coming soon. :) prob won't be in s'pore again tho, most likely to be holidaying with jazi's family. :) We've been roasting chickens in increasing size so tt if we roast a turkey we'll get it right the first time. i'm going to get sick of chicken by christmas hahaha...

Today's been a funny day. My mum was nagging at me to finish my water so I was gulping it down and when she came into the room i took an extra big gulp to show her tt i was drinking. then i suddenly had this urge to laugh. the more i controlled the more i needed to laugh. My mum was watching me and then she laughed. I couldn't take it anymore and I laughed ALL the water out, like fountain like tt, wah so much water all over the floor, chair and myself. i was super wet and i couldn't stop laughing. I couldn't even get up. hahaha...
FAM (farewell alma mater) is keeping me busy. meetings almost every cle lesson, cover designs, delegation of work all due soon... feels like rs . and oh... a sec 2 is in charge of us... ... oh well... it feels like we're planning for some failure event. so many sec 4s aren't even going. quite sad. I hope we don't make the remaining ones disappointed. :)

It's NDP now, but i'm not realli watching. :p doing chi PT now, tying to correct all my cuo zi. hai, must do well for tt to pull my chi grades up... speaking of grades, my maths was realli lousy but i was pleased tt i passed. so i was feeling kinda like an idiot when I was sitting next to charm and yiyue and they were not so happy with their higher than mine grades and I was, well, content. :)

i just realised tt somethings on the skin are set by default like the 38 days thing. I will change it when i find out how to do tt.hahaha. I also dunno what's all those AAA at the top. hai. haha.
haha, i'm feeling so accomplished. I actually changed the skin and added a tagboard BY MYSELF!!! hahahahahaha!! Thanks again Jessie!!!
