Jesus Christ was referring to many aspects of our lives.

If He has given us an outgoing personality, He expects us to use that ability to honor the Lord and attract people to Jesus Christ

If He has given us great intellectual abilities, He expects us to use these capacities to learn all we can and to use that information to carry out His purposes in the world

If we have grown up in a home that has been safe and secure, He expects us to use our sense of security to reach out to others who are less fortunate and help them develop feelings of safety and protection within the family of God

If we've inherited or are able to make large amounts of money, He expects us to use our material resources generously to further the work of His Kingdom.

If He is giving us an opportunity at this moment to get an education, He expects us to learn all that we can in that environment and not waste time and effort.

If we've already obtained education, He expects us to use out educational experience to carry out His goals in this world.

If He has given us unusual talents and abilities, God expects us to use those talents and abilities to carry out the Great Commission

If He has given us a family, He expects us to model what it means to be a person of character
