so i shall tell u about my disasters today while i was at soup spoon with shaun

i was carrying a real heavy tray of soup and ice lemon tea, and i somehow tilted the tray in a weird direction cos it was too heavy, and i poured ice lemon tea all over the table, the floor and the sofa!!! it narrowly missed a lady sitting next to me!! ): ): ): oh gosh, so unglam!!!
and all the service crew had to come with the mop and lots of tissue to help me clear up the spill ):


okay, then after everything was cleared, they gave me another glass of ice lemon tea! so nice (: (:

and i decided my pumpkin soup wasn't salty enough, so i put salt over it, but the saltshaker cap wasnt tight, and the WHOLE thing went into my soup, including abt a third of the bottle of salt. ): ): it made the soup taste terrible!!!!

so i had to steal shaun's soup ):

and partner wanted to buy me shoes. i thought he meant latin shoes and i was very excited cos i want new latin heels. but anyway, he meant ninewest heels, so i said no need cos im so fussy abt street shoes. but so sweet of him (:

and told partner to go factory outlet and buy tight shirts so we can see his lines (:

am reminded why i dont like shuttling between home and hall. the cosmetics and skin stuff take a lot of space, and all those glass bottles are real heavy.

i hope the causeway doesnt jam tomorrow!

and im actually excited for retreat, cos i dont have to do Children's church duty!!! so i can attend the services, and lots of time to shop! (:

hair is giving me problems with all the split ends and tangles. sigh. thats why i chose to perm right before camp. if anything goes wrong, i'll go to malaysia and try to fix it without so many ppl noticing. haha

these curls are super loose though. i bet it'll be straight in about a month's time.

anyway, permanent curls are not as nice as styling iron curls. but that is super super time consuming. and i am so lazy. but maybe i should invest in curling irons.

good hair days are not easy to come by.

I REALLY WANT TO GO SHOPPING ):

had super bad cramps today, couldnt even get up. i tried getting up three times, but i couldnt stand for more than 5 minutes, and it was so bad i broke out in cold sweat, and was super dizzy and nauseous at the same time.

so i had to cancel chacha lesson ):

partner was sweet abt it as usual. its always me who cancels our lessons ):

and i slept for 4 hours i think.

and i dreamt really strange things, like partner not letting me drink bubble tea cos im not supposed to drink cold drinks. and my latin dance teacher danced on pointe in my dream! (:


felt better when i woke, so went to waltz and quickstep lesson at night. (:

partner was very energetic and happy and awake today. he's very cute when he's like that, cos he keeps bouncing and bouncing.

ooh we're doing a jungle themed showdance (: (: the music is awesome, and the guys have a very cool routine. i think they look really good dancing it. (:

oooh im back from the wedding performance!!!


conditioned and washed my hair twice!!! cos my hair got super sprayed!!! till it was real stiff!!!

and cleaning off all the makeup makes me feel squeaky clean (:


it was a really high class wedding btw! they served their guests godiva and royce chocolates!!! and champagne!! and the decorations were super pretty!! (: it's an inter racial marriage!!! i hope they live happily ever after and have super cute kids!!! (: (: (:

well, im excited for tmr, cos we're performing at someone's wedding, which makes me feel that we must dance more properly than usual, cos it's not just a function, but someone's big day.

but really, a wedding is just an event, being married is.. well, its a state of being. haha, and wedding bands are the world's smallest handcuffs (;

and i said i bet many wedding couples would get panic attacks and start thinking 'omgosh, am i really getting married?!?! it's really me getting married?!?! what if he/she wants us to eat beansprouts everyday, or want to keep a ten foot long pink and green polka dotted python under the sink? or what if his/her idea of fun is to try and contact extraterrestrials?!?!'


i bet that's the real reason the father of the bride needs to escort her to the altar, and the groom is carefully guarded by his best man. so that they can't run away!!!



okay, no la, maybe they're actually really happy together, and maybe they'll even dance a wedding rumba/waltz or something tmr. haha


but i think its a scientific fact that the closer a person is to having to make a decision to further the direction of the relationship (e.g. getting together, getting engaged, getting married), the more negative feelings they get about it.

whereas, the further away they are from having to decide it, the more positive feelings they get about it.

oh ya! while teaching in the CCK childcare recently, i ran out of work for the kids to do, so i gathered them and told them 'charlie the caterpillar'. i obviously didnt have the puppets, so i used markers and drew the animals on the board, it was quite successful!!! (:


and then there was the formation of the DJSLX_ yahoo groups!! for dawn, jess, sher, linh, xiu!! (:



oh, when i received the email for 'Pre-departure 2010 for UK students' i was realllll sad. i can't remember if i accepted NUS at that time already though. haha, i only remember being so sad to turn down Kings college.


hmm, i can't find my acceptance email from Vivalatinus, but i found one email by kim!! at one point we had 44 members!! wow! we're down to... less than 15? haha

my CAP and i died together. haha, i am in danger of not being able to dance anymore.

sad as it is, this is a more familiar feeling, reminds me of RG/RJ times. haha

ended training real early, cos my hip really hurts when i settle weight on it, its becoming a sharper kind of pain, and that's bad!!! anyway, without being able to settle, i cant train much, so we just went home!
