had a real nice time praying with my buddy for every person in class, plus some teachers and other friends. (: it was realll nice... (: finally we managed to get down to praying for everyone!
and today we were totally nuts at math tuition! we tried to convince brandon that we were going to fight the crocodiles, gorillas and dust bunnies in his house, and we went exploring their basement and shouting down the stairs. hahaha, so funny, and we practised all our tarbet cheers in the living room while waiting for them since both of them were MTians (: haha, so funny! and we ran around until we were so hot by the time they were ready for tuition. hahaha

Last day of school! ):
went to sumo house with jess xiu and dawn today after tuition! (:
and.. i got free SPRING ROLLS again! hahaha hooray,it's real yummy and I ate 5 out of 8 of them! oops!!! and jess and xiu played chopsticks with real chopsticks which was real funny, cos we ran out of chopsticks and used spoons!
and then we trawled big bookshop, buying jess's chops and looking at cool stationary! and xiu and i found a palmistry book and were reading hands. hahha, it's quite cool! anyway, our palms read that everyone's going to be married with kids except me!!! and i'm not even going to have a serious r/ship!! oh no!!! hahaha, i better read up more on the care of cats since they'll be my lifelong buddies soon. hahahaha (: it was real fun anyway!
anywayy... have been taking long walks down memory lane, and reading lots and lots of diary entries that i havent wanted to read for a long long time.
ah well...

Since I already typed the whole thing out for my dear cell girls, i might as well paste it here too!
Here’s a story about 2 artists who were supposed to paint a picture signifying their individual concepts of peace.
The first artist pulled on his boots and hiked into the Rockies outside Winter Park, Colorado. Several miles beyond the nearest ski lift, he erected his easel besides a secluded lake known only to locals. Poised in this Hallmark-card perfect setting, he filled his canvas with the lacelike haze of early morning as it dissolved before the first golden rays of daylight. The brilliant greens of the towering pines were so vivid in the painting that the artist’s oils seemed to smell of the forest. An eagle floated lazily across the sky, its image reflected in the mirror of the lake’s still surface. It was the kind of picture you’d expect to see on a greeting card, or on the cover of your magazine.
The second artist applied for press credentials, hopped on a red eyed flight for the war torn Middle East, and set up his easel near the gutted building that served as headquarters of the terrorist Palestine Liberation Organisation. Shielded by a heap of bricks and twisted girders, the artist filled his canvas with a fiery maelstrom as violent as that which fell from the bombers overhead. Rockets cut a swath of destruction across the painting- so lifelike that the explosion and screams seemed to roar with each stroke of his brush. But then, there, just outside the ruins, in the crook of a little bent tree was a bird resting atop a nest of eggs. Seemingly insulated from the chaos all about, it sat with its tiny head tucked serenely beneath its wing.

anyway, I am really really really gonna miss my class..... ):
haha and today's lunch at swensons with dawn prawn was real funny! we ordered a monstrous cup of strawberry sherbert with poached/stewed/pureed strawberries so that we could get a discount but then we wouldnt eat it! haha, we had to toss coins to make each other eat! of course i kept winning! i got the lucky side! hahah (: and dawn's ice cream was WEIRD!!! it tasted like fish soup when combined with my banana split!! hahahah

prelims are over!! (: haha, and i'm back from working at F1!!!
it was pretty fun overall i guess, running around with dawn, xiu and tat and selling those programmes and shouting and shouting!! the most exciting part was the backstreet boys concert!! xiu and i were so excited, hahaha! the cars were so noisy though, even the earplugs didnt block out the noise! oh, it was quite fun to collect money too(:
and yest night, dawn xiu tat alaric, daryl and i went to get macs and beer after getting our pay! beer is bitter and not nice!!! our chicken nuggets were nicer!! dawn xiu and i gave most of our beer to alaric and tat, haha (: and we got home at 3am!!! my poor mum has had to wait up for me these few days!!!
had a nice long chat with jess buddy just now! haha, it was real funny, at some points we were laughing till we couldnt talk properly. haha, i thank God always for jess buddy!! (:

alrights! I am going to try again! I won't give up!!!
for the past months, i have been real frustrated with my cell, because its very difficult to connect with them, and also, the cell kit is really theological and difficult this year and they dont really understand whatever i am teaching...
BUT!!!
i am going to try again! currently adapting some new lessons from my QT book, which are hopefully more applicable and youth oriented!!!
well, like everyone else, been stressing abt uni apps. but i had this real nice QT a few days back, just talking to God about it all, and I felt then that everything was going to be alright. that even if I can't get into my dream school, i'll still be where God wants me to be. after all, I want God's best for me! (: and if I think about it now, I know that while i will still be sad if I don't get to go overseas,I will be at peace with it. so yep yep, I felt a lot better after praying, and i felt so loved by my father in heaven!!!
and i was reaalll encouraged by jess's bookmark today! thanks buddy!

I need to shop for a new diary! (: my pretty disney princess one has about 6 pages left (:
been doing strange things instead of studying these few days. I went to re read some old letters, and it was pretty nice, there were many sweet letters, some that were a bit sad and stuff, but it was still quite nice to remember things.
my sis and i shared a bird's nest mask today (: and it was real fun, and it smelt really nice! it helped to take away some of the headache from physics tuition! haha
and had a real nice and loooonngg talk with xiu and dawn prawn a few days back! haha, it was so nice! (: we talked abt a lot of things, and i can't remember it all! but it was great!
and get well soon linh-a-linh!!! we love you!!!

today was a real fun day!
went out with xiu jess dawn linh for breakfast!!! nuts right! so early! we went to this toa payoh hawker centre to eat kway chap! hahah, linh and xiu loved eating the gross intestines!!! hahahah
then we went to sch and studied for a while before going to clementi to make jess's new specs, and we took super super long to decide the colour while i was fainting from hunger. but it's good that jess is replacing her 'harry potter specs' - cos they're held together with scotch tape and are round too!
hahahhah, but lunch was real yummy, and we did so many dumb things!! we ate at a jap place, and suddenly we were talking abt how we have really bad hearing, cos we're always hearing each other wrongly, so we decided to play broken telephone. it was so funny!! we laughed and laughed and laughed!
we ended up with crazy messages like
'in hawaii, speak parrot'
' the chipmunk jumped into the treehole'
' too much math and monkeys'
' wear katsudon, eat flippers and wrestle with a carrot'
when the original messages were totally diff but i can't even remember what the real message was, cos we were just laughing our heads off, and dawn almost choked!
and anyway, i was so unlucky to always be in the wrong place at the wrong time, and i got pinched by linh 4 times!!! hahahha
and then i went to meet nicole! which was real nice too (: love her to bits! (:

real nice prayer time with jess buddy when we prayed for NO ONE ELSE concert, and our class (:
hmm... what else... oh umm, i am seriously lousy at HHK dance school. hahahah, all the stuff they do involve pirouetting and jumping here and there, and lifted legs. and it's SO tiring. i'm tired by the 3rd barre exercise, which is quite amazing. haha
CTs were a big disaster, hahaha, i felt pretty bad, cos the teachers are real nice, especially Ms Ng, haha my favourite teacher (: oh wells, i guess i better start sticking to out Fabulously Intensive Plan!!!
my cell is really quite different from RIP, and i still miss my RIP girls sometimes, haha, i don't think i will be continuing cell ministry after this year, even if i stay in singapore. hahah, quite difficult being in G2 ministry, but i'm getting used to it (: and i must say that i have a great co-cm!!! (: haha

syf is over! and dance night will be too in abt 3 weeks when jess turns 15++++++++++++ hahahaha
3 weeks of non stop pracs everyday till late at night and now that it has stopped for 2 days, it actually feels weird. haha, will miss c dance, though its also time to study!
havent't seen my cell girls for a while, and have put aside all my ministry this whole time. sigh, picking it up again slowly, feel quite bad abt constantly missing leaders meetings and stuff, sigh. missing the combined leaders meeting again.

guess what!
my grandpa couldn't recognise me! We went off to church to pick my grandpa and grandma up from their service, and my family scuttled off, leaving me in the car by myself! and when my grandpa came out, i asked him to sit in the car, but he looked at me and said 'who are you?' goodness!!!! it was so funny, haha, he said it was cos i tied up hair up in a ponytail (came from dance)
oh, and i had a nice birthday. (: i was woken up by jess calling me on the handphone, then hearing her asking linh if she should tell me tt they're downstairs!!! I bathed in record time and was real surprised with a big chipmunk blanket and a lot of other cool stuff!
and later on, my cell surprised me again by turning up at my doorstep with a cake! oh my! Under normal circumstances, i should be in serious shock from being surprised twice in a day and running around in circles! but thanks friends, love love!
oh! and met with nicole to chit chat a bit today, love her lots!

and A level results were out today, i felt so nervous just collecting chinese results, just imagine the poor j3s who would be so stressed! ahh! and that would be us next year ): chinese results weren't quite what i'd hoped, but still alright anyway (: thank God for that! (:

i realised that 2.4 run is next week! finally, the last time that i have to run! JUST ONE MORE TIME! i must learn from Linh and do self encouragement. Go Sher!!!
yay! meeting nicole tmr! the first formal session with her! I'm really excited for her and what God is going to do in her life! (: and when i met with xinying on tues, I was so amazed at how much she's grown, it's so cool, even though she's not allowed to go to church and stuff, but she's more regular with her qt than most of my cell girls, and she writes so much notes abt what she's learnt in qt. (: it's just really really great and amazing, and it was so encouraging to me too, after spending a while feeling so sad abt my cell which is so unresponsive and uncommitted. haha, there are so many of my cell girls who're not coming or irregular and my co-cm and i have to keep contacting them. sigh. well, learn to love them like Jesus does!
i kinda miss being J1, but J2's alright too i suppose. haha, feels like a lot of things have changed?
i realise that we haven't had sort of like a peer cell group for a long while, i miss that kind of encouraging sharing. I miss Susanna and her always heartwarming sharings!!!

I'm alive from 2.4! (: I spent my time singing 'if I were a butterfly' in my head and thinking of excuses to get out of running again. haha, one more run to go and I wont ever have to run again!!
and dance camp is over! good thing tt it was really slack! haha, but i got bored when they kept taking pictures! well well, now tt i dont think i'm doing syf, i think i'll have more time for the people I love!! (: which is actually a really good thing! (:
was also very blessed by jeanie during service when she prayed for me during worship and revealed a vision (: i really needed tt. i'm also very excited abt walking with nicole! (: ah! i dont think i'm making a lot of sense but nevermind, just know tt God is cool, and He never leaves me alone when i need Him!

dance camp tmr and 2.4 trial run tmr
it is going to be the worst day ever! Ahhh!
sigh, i do not like running. I really do not like running one little bit!
and anyway, syf is becoming like a disaster for me, and i'm currently sitting out for a good half a dance, BUT i shall not just sit out and be a grouch and think abt the same kind of gym/cheer feelings and feel sorry for myself. i shall take that time while they're practising parts tt i'm not dancing to talk to my Father in heaven! (: I will learn to be secure in His love! whether i dance half a dance, or maybe not get to dance at all, it is well with my soul, because the world can't take away His love (:
and also, God's been really cool in my qt (: boring chapters in the bible finally have some meaning, and above all, I learnt that God is love! (: like what linh carries around on her file. haha. its too hard to type out all the stuff, ask me if u want to know! (:
and although i'm only camping in the dance studio for one night, it seems like FOREVER to me! ): ahh, sher does not like camping either! haha, well, will be fun i hope! (: good thing that there's shiao to accompany me too! (:

take 5 today followed by physics tuition. haha, shiao and I were so sleepy during tuition and our brains were fried! but I think we learnt stuff la! haha, good start!
i am too physically active nowadays, it's just not right. haha, i feel like i'm running and dancing more than i should!!!! haha, sher is not made for exercise! (: haha, so lousy, aching everyday.
anyway, my g2 cell kids are quite cute, in a way i didnt expect. they're really open. i've hardly cm-ed them for a month, but a few of them smsed to ask me questions, or what to do, or their worries and concerns abt ministry stuff. and i'm surprised, pleasantly so. haha, i think i expected them to be like my RIP girls and find it difficult to share, especially with a CM so new to their cell. and i was really worried abt stepping into mel's footsteps a second time and worried abt whether the girls would respond well to me, but mel encouraged me with this during christmas (i can't remember if i've typed it, but i'll type again!) :
'Don't worry abt stepping into my footsteps, because I go barefoot and step onto the feet of our Father in heaven and let Him lead me in this waltz for two'
I'm really touched by that, and i'm glad she re-adjusted my focus off myself and put it on heaven (: it's been helping me in my G2 ministry (:
and exciting things are happening! God's real cool! (:

hahah, my dad just told me abt his super funny dream!!!
He was in the lift with a few kids, and suddenly a HUGE giant flying cockroach flew out, and my dad tried to be the hero by squishing it against the wall! haha, but he dropped it and it fell into his shirt!! and he spent the rest of the dream trying to catch the cockroach, but he only got the head out.
YUCKY YUCKY YUCKY!!!! haha,if i dreamt tt, I wouldnt ever dare to sleep again!!! hahaha so funny (:

what a boring chinese new year!!!
haha, linh and andrew are not in singapore, and jess is busy visiting relative, so i amused myself by packing my drawer, and I found a treasure hoard of things at the bottom of my drawer, which include:
- seashells
- lots and lots of sweet letters
- my UK wallet
- the thread i used to sew pointe shoes with
- disney princess pencils
- disney princess stickers!
- a fan for dancing
- a thermometer
- 2 tupperware boxes
- 5 bottles of nail polish
- chinese ink
but surprisingly, no ants/beetles/cobwebs/things that make me scream (:
haha so I spent the whole afternoon re-reading letters and diaries, and putting them away into a safer place (where they won't be read by my parents!!) haha (:
and I want to watch disney princess on ice- princess wishes!!!! (: esp since there's sleeping beauty, which is my favourite princess! its gonna be here 13-17 march and $20! wow wow wow! I am so excited! oh and I have a pink phone now! I think i'm getting pinkier, must be pinky linh's influence. haha
had cell with jeanie sitting in last week! Getting used to g2 i guess, slowly la. at least i don't feel so lost now, and can recognise a few people, much thanks to my co-cm who always goes out of her way to make me feel included, and sits with me during service though she has her own group of friends.(:
